The purpose of the SELPA System Improvement Leads (SIL) Project is to work collaboratively within the Statewide System of Support to build the capacity of Special Education Local Plan Areas (SELPAs) and Local Education Agencies (LEAs) with a common goal to improve outcomes for students with disabilities.
CalECSE is a technical assistance (TA) project funded under the CDE that will support local educational agencies (LEAs), SELPAs, County Offices of Special Education (COEs), and other Agency Partners in the areas of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part C to B Transitions, Preschool Assessment Practices, and Preschool Child Find by providing TA, professional learning, and demonstration of tangible practices that have been proven successful.
The High Quality IEPs Project (HQ IEPs) is excited to serve families and Local Education Agencies (LEAs) across California by providing training and resources to support meaningful engagement in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process. HQ IEPs envisions a future in which all LEAs, in partnership with families, have the capacity to develop high-quality IEPs, utilizing best practices, which results in meaningful participation and educational benefit for students.
The Imperial County SELPA is committed to be of assistance to the statewide system of support by offering collaborative consultation services to SELPAs who have identified needs associated with improving outcomes for English learners with Disabilities.
Offering professional development and resources for educators, administrators, and organizations to enhance their understanding of Universal Design for Learning and how to leverage accessible and assistive technologies to meet the needs of ALL learners in K-12 settings.
Funded by the California Department of Education (CDE) through a contract to the Napa County Office of Education (NCOE), the overall purpose of the project is to provide a system of technical assistance for local educational agencies (LEAs) working to address performance and compliance problems relating to disproportionality and significant disproportionality.
This project supports special educators, administrators, and families in implementing the California Department of Education’s Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP) for:
Infants and toddlers with Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs); and
Preschool-age children with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Providing assistance on behalf of the California Department of Education, Special Education Division to support the direction, initiatives and activities that are a part of the State Performance Plan (SPP) related to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Indicators.
Serving some of Orange County’s most vulnerable student populations and providing support and mandated fiscal oversight to 28 school districts serving more than 600 schools and approximately 475,000 students.

Through a three tiered service model of universal, targeted and intensive supports, CCIL provides innovative professional learning focused on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to increase educator capacity to provide ALL students access to meaningful, relevant, and rigorous grade level instruction in inclusive classroom environments.
